Transfer During Probation Sparks Row: Questions Raised Over Dr. Pooja Agrawal’s Posting, Allegations of Service Rule Violation

Raigarh. The transfer of Medical Officer Dr. Pooja Agrawal, posted at the District Hospital Raigarh, has triggered controversy in departmental circles, with allegations that the move violates established service rules.

According to available information, Dr. Agrawal was appointed on 22 July 2022 in the junior pay scale with a grade pay of ₹5,400. Her appointment order clearly stated that she would be on a three-year probation period from the date of joining, during which transfer was not permitted.

Despite this, the department went ahead and issued a transfer order for Dr. Agrawal well before the completion of her probation. Official records confirm that service rules explicitly prohibit the transfer of officers and employees during probation. This has led to questions about procedural irregularities and adherence to rules.

Departmental sources allege that the order disregards the probation protection clause, raising serious concerns about transparency and compliance with administrative norms. The matter has now become a talking point within bureaucratic circles, with growing demands for a review of the decision.

👉 The big question remains: Will the department roll back the controversial transfer order in line with service rules, or will this escalate into yet another administrative controversy?
