The transformative changes occurring in Chhattisgarh with the blessings of Lord Shri Ram, an inspiration to the entire country, says CM Baghel
Raipur: During his visit to Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district on Tuesday, chief minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit, a Rs 7.45 crore project aimed at boosting tourism in the region.
Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel announced the establishment of a new 100-bed hospital in Janakpur and the expansion of the Kelhari-Harchauka road. Additionally, he dedicated 325 development projects valued at a total of Rs 359.83 crore to the Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district. Among these, 160 development projects worth Rs 156.47 crore were inaugurated, and the groundbreaking ceremony for 165 projects worth Rs 203.36 crore was conducted.
In Sitamarhi-Harchauka, along the Chhattisgarh-Madhya Pradesh border, the Chhattisgarh Government completed the development of Ram Vatika and various infrastructure projects under the Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit. Chief Minister inaugurated various facilities, including a Lord Shri Ram statue, a Ramayana interpretation center, a cafeteria, Siyaram Kutir, a tourist information center, and riverbank beautification.
During his address, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel emphasized the state’s transformative changes, citing the blessings of Lord Shri Ram as an inspiration. He highlighted the government’s commitment to honor Lord Shri Ram’s ideals and memories through various tourism initiatives. The Chief Minister also spoke about the successful development of the Mata Kaushalya temple complex and the inauguration of sacred sites associated with Lord Shri Ram in different locations.
He further mentioned efforts to preserve Chhattisgarh’s culture through initiatives like the National Tribal Festival and the National Ramayana Festival. The state government also focuses on preserving the native language and traditional food culture.
Chief Minister announced the third installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan NYAY Yojana, emphasizing the substantial financial support provided to beneficiaries in the state. He highlighted the state’s progress in generating its own electricity, the establishment of new districts and divisions, and the sanctioning of various development projects for the region.
In addition to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, other prominent leaders and dignitaries attended the event, including the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Charandas Mahant, Bollywood singer Tripti Shakya, Culture Minister Amarjeet Bhagat, and Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Minister Mohan Markam.
