‘Sugghar Padhvaiya Yojana’: Reward for schools to upskill the academic talent in the children
Raipur: The state government has launched the ‘Sugghar Padhvaiya Yojana’ under which the talent of children will be observed at government primary and middle schools of the state and will work to upskill that talent according to their interest. Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel announced this scheme on November 14 i.e. on the occasion of Children’s Day. Schools will also be rewarded under this scheme for upskilling the academic talent in the children. A cash prize of Rs 1 lakh will be rewarded to the school under the Platinum category, Rs 50,000 under the Gold category and Rs 25,000 under the Silver category.
The sole objective of this scheme is to encourage teachers which are doing good work and performing better on their own. This can also encourage and inspire others teachers to do the same good work or even better. Teachers can team up to make a better environment for doing positive work. Departmental officers in their respective areas can take responsibility for developing and improving the image of government schools.
This scheme is for all government primary and middle schools in the state. The teachers of the school can participate in this scheme at any time by consulting among themselves. To participate in this scheme, the school has to apply on the web portal. Schools have to compete with themselves also. All the teachers of the schools together have to work together to develop academic skills in all the students of the school. The school will be only eligible for the certificate if the entire school is eligible for the certificate. The certificate will not be given to any one teacher, one student or one class.
On-demand training and other resources will be provided to the schools on request to achieve their goals that will participate in the scheme. If any schools will get the certificate, all the teachers of that school will also get the certificate. The certification will be announced on the web portal immediately after the third-party assessment. The certificate will be awarded on the day of Independence Day and Republic Day.
