State government to tighten noose around Revenue Department for speedy disposal of grievances.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said the state government is tightening the noose around the Revenue Department for the grievance redressal of the people. In his media interaction, on the sideline of the Bhent-Mulaqat programme, the Chief Minister said that he has received complaints about the Revenue Department and will take necessary measures.

He said that the Congress government in Chhattisgarh had taken several proactive measures to bring a new identity to Chhattisgarh, which was once known as Naxalgarh. Forest rights lease for the needy and promotion of Millet Mission; roads to address the problems and better communication. The Forest Department has received instruction to plant fruit-bearing trees. There should a be water facility for wild animals, also in this direction Narva programme will be beneficial, he added.

The Chief Minister said that continuous efforts are underway to generate employment for the individuals.

Hel said it is good that the Central government has extended the time for the levy of GST compensation cess by nearly four years till March 31, 2026. ‘But, he added, the Central government should announce to pay GST compensation soon.’ The CM also criticized the Central government over the Agneepath scheme.

The Chief Minister, on industrial development, said that the local people will decide for the industry. He inaugurated and performed Bhoomi puja of 78 projects worth Rs 82,09,63,000 in the Kunkuri assembly constituency. Thirty-six works worth Rs 51,09,65,000 were inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Puja for 42 projects worth Rs 30,99,98,000.
