Second day of Poultry Conclave: 3,000 poultry farmers attended conference for a developed poultry nation

Raipur: On the second day of the country’s largest Poultry Conclave, held at Hotel Omaya Garden in the city, poultry farmers from across India participated. The event began with poultry experts Dr. R.K. Jaiswal and Dr. Mubarak Hussain from IB Group providing detailed information to the farmers about poultry farm management and essential vaccinations.During the two-day poultry conference, along with technical knowledge, several announcements and schemes were launched for the farmers. Under the Samriddhi Scheme, IB Group announced a contribution of Rs 25,000 each for the birth of a girl child and her marriage.Asmita Project for Tribal Women
IB Group is running the Asmita Project to provide employment to tribal women, aiming to turn them into “Lakhpati Didis” (millionaire sisters) by involving them in this initiative. So far, tribal women from Mohla-Manpur have been selected and trained in poultry farming. In this regard, the state government and district administration are also stepping forward and doing commendable work by selecting and training women, connecting them to employment opportunities in villages. The initiative began in Rajnandgaon district, and it will expand to districts like Ambikapur and Jagdalpur in the future.The company’s Director, Zoya Afreen Alam, was also present at the event. While addressing the farmers, she emphasized that to elevate Indian poultry to a global level, adopting EC (Environmentally Controlled) poultry house technology is essential. This is crucial to tackle future challenges like climate change. With this transformation, achieving uniform bird weight and producing around six batches a year will help fulfill the goal of providing protein to the nation.Addressing the farmers, IB Group’s Managing Director, Bahadur Ali, said, “I express my gratitude to all the poultry farmers from across the country who have attended this conference. The position IB Group holds today is the result of a long list of struggles, but it is because of our farmers that the company has grown so big.
