Before committing the crime, they tied the hands and feet of some family members. The incident took place in Kewradih village under the Kharora police station area.

Robbers Entered Through the Roof

According to reports, the criminals entered the house through the roof. The main door was secured with a rope instead of a latch, which the robbers cut before breaking in. They then pointed a gun at the head of the house owner, demanding the location of cash and jewelry.

Family Held Hostage

The house belongs to a farmer, Radhelal. At the time of the robbery, his wife, mother, daughter, and daughter-in-law were inside. They were sleeping in separate rooms when seven masked men stormed in around 2:05 am. Hearing the commotion, other family members woke up.

Radhelal recounted that 2-3 robbers entered his room armed with swords, guns, and knives. They used abusive language and threatened to kill him, repeatedly warning, “Stay quiet, don’t shout.” When they tried to attack, the family members shielded themselves with their hands.

Loot and Escape

The robbers tied the hands of some family members before ransacking the cupboard, looting cash and jewelry, and fleeing with the valuables. Radhelal immediately informed the Kharora police around 3 am.
