Rajnath Singh foresees Congress’s disappearance in Chhattisgarh: Compares it to extinction of dinosaurs

In a fiery speech delivered in Geedam, Dantewada, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, drawing a parallel between its future and the extinction of dinosaurs. Addressing an election rally in support of BJP candidate Mahesh Kashyap from the Bastar Lok Sabha seat in Chhattisgarh, Singh minced no words in highlighting the alleged misgovernance and corruption under Congress rule.
Singh asserted, “Whenever Congress comes to power, corruption increases.” He attributed the rise in corruption to the Congress government, accusing it of presiding over a flood of scams whenever in office. Pointing to the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections, where the BJP garnered significant support, Singh thanked the electorate for their overwhelming support, expressing confidence in the state’s pivotal role in India’s developmental journey.
Recalling his longstanding association with Chhattisgarh since its inception as a state, Singh emphasized the transformative potential of the BJP in reshaping the destiny of the region. He reminisced about the initial skepticism surrounding the BJP’s ability to form a government, which was eventually dispelled by the changing tide of public opinion.
Singh didn’t mince words in criticizing the Congress’s governance, accusing it of rampant corruption and perpetuating a legacy of scams. He highlighted instances of malfeasance under Congress rule, including what he termed as “cow dung scams” and other corrupt practices.
Asserting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to building a developed India, Singh reiterated the BJP’s vision of an inclusive and opportunity-rich nation where every citizen can prosper.
Foreseeing the demise of the Congress in Chhattisgarh post-elections, Singh drew a striking analogy, likening its fate to that of dinosaurs. He expressed confidence in the electorate’s preference for the BJP, echoing the sentiment of “Our government, our Modi, our BJP” resonating across Chhattisgarh.
Earlier, Rajnath Singh’s arrival in Jagdalpur was marked by a warm reception by BJP officials at Danteshwari Airport. He is slated to address a massive rally in the Kanker Lok Sabha constituency following his Bastar visit.
