Rajnandgaon’s Bamhani village sets an example by achieving 100 per cent completion of Chhattisgarh Socio-Economic Survey 2023

Rajnandgaon: “Where there is a will, there is a way and collective efforts lead to meaningful results”. Rajnandgaon’s Bamhani village has set an example by completing 100 per cent of survey work in a planned manner under the Chhattisgarh Socio-Economic Survey 2023, started by the Chhattisgarh Government on April 01 this year.
Under the skilled guidance of Collector Doman Singh, CEO Zila Panchayat Amit Kumar, and coordinated efforts of department officials and employees, gram panchayat Bhamhani successfully completed the survey of 265 families in 207 households, marking a new milestone of success.
As soon as the survey work began and gained momentum, the Gram Panchayat Bamhani took the initiative to launch a grand campaign to ensure the successful completion of the entire survey despite technical challenges. The campaign was executed in a planned manner, starting with the preparation of an initial list of the survey along with six other lists. Families were informed about the survey and necessary documents beforehand through Munaadi. They were also advised to keep the required documents ready and submit them during the survey.
The head of the family was requested to be present at home during the survey, while an appeal was made to celebrate the day of the survey campaign in the village as a festival. To carry out the house numbering activity, the village was inspected first and then the house numbering was done with the supervision of the local employment assistant, panchayat representative, Rajiv Yuva club member, and the Sarpanch.
