Rajasthan Girl Enterprise Agriculture Subject Scheme: Applications Open for 2023-2024 Academic Year
The Rajasthan Government has announced the commencement of online applications for the Rajasthan Girl Enterprise Agriculture Subject Scheme. Eligible girl students can apply for this scheme from July 1 to September 30, 2023. The scheme’s primary objective is to provide financial assistance and encouragement to girls pursuing education in the agriculture sector.
Under the Rajasthan Chhatra Krishi Vishaya Yojana 2023, students who choose agriculture as a subject in 12th grade will receive an annual incentive of Rs 5,000. Additionally, there will be incentives of Rs 12,000 per year for undergraduate and postgraduate studies and Rs 15,000 per year for agricultural studies.
Benefits of the Rajasthan Girl Agriculture Subject Scheme 2023:
- Incentives for 11th and 12th Grade: Girls with agriculture subjects after 10th grade will receive Rs 15,000 per year during their 11th and 12th-grade studies.
- Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies: For girls pursuing agricultural graduation and a 5-year course at the university level, a financial incentive of Rs 25,000 per year will be provided.
- Incentives for Specialization: Those specializing in basketball in agriculture will receive Rs 40,000 for three years.
