Raipur: IAF Wing Commander found dead at residence, suspected suicide in Vidhayak Colony

An Indian Air Force (IAF) Wing Commander allegedly died by suicide in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur. The officer’s body was found hanging at his residence in the Vidhayak Colony under Telibandha police station limits.
According to the police, Wing Commander Vipul Yadav (39) took the extreme step at Bungalow Number 79 in Purena Vidhayak Colony. Originally a resident of Haryana, Yadav was currently posted in Raipur.
The incident came to light when family members discovered him hanging inside a room. They immediately alerted the police, who reached the spot and took custody of the body.
A police official said the body has been sent for post-mortem examination after completing preliminary procedures. The exact reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained.
Investigators are currently questioning family members and neighbours to determine any possible reasons behind the incident. Police said they are probing all possible angles, and further clarity is expected after the autopsy report is received.
