President Droupadi Murmu, on two-day tour, will be visiting Chhattisgarh on August 31. It will be her maiden visit to the state after her election as the President of India. As per information, the President will grace several programmes at Raipur and Bilaspur.
As per schedule, the President will land at Raipur airport at 10 am on August 31 and reach the Raj Bhawan. She will participate in a programme to be organised at Prajapita Ishwariya Trust the Shanti Sarovar on Vidhan Sabha Road. She will leave for Bilaspur on September 1 after night halt at Raj Bhawan. After offering prayer at Mahamaya temple here, she will grace the convocation ceremony of Guru Ghasidas Central University at 11 am.
