IB Group’s Managing Director, Bahadur Ali, addressing the gathering, outlined the group’s vision to transform Chhattisgarh into a “Protein Hub” by 2035, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of a developed India by 2047. He stated that IB Group has already connected lakhs of people across the country to the poultry business as part of this initiative. The aim is to increase protein awareness in India, similar to the emphasis placed on it in countries like Europe and America, to benefit public health.

The group aims to establish one chicken protein shop for every 1,500 people, according to Ali. Currently, a team of approximately 300 individuals is working to develop poultry farms and expand chicken protein shops in villages, which is expected to increase rural incomes. IB Group is also offering subsidies to promote poultry farming and generate employment opportunities in villages.

Ali announced the “Expansion Plan,” which includes a subsidy of Rs 21 crore over three years for 1,000 vehicles to support small traders associated with the poultry business. He also mentioned a plan to assist small poultry traders in adopting more professional shop names, such as “Chicken Protein Centers,” to enhance business credibility.

IB Group Director Zoya Afreen Alam encouraged poultry traders to embrace technology in the poultry sector to compete globally by adopting advanced practices.

The second day of the conclave will host poultry farmers from across the country, focusing on educating them about providing protein nutrition through modern poultry practices.
