Wishing Congress president Sonia Gandhi a happy Navratri, BJP’s RajyaSanha MP from Chhattisgarh Saroj Pandey has shot a letter to Gandhi seeking disciplinary action against senior Congress leader of Chhattisgarh and Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu for his remark ‘charming face’ on her.
“A few days ago, I raised the issue of poor roads of Chhattisgarh through a video featuring both the roads and me, seeking chief minister BhupeshBaghel’s attention towards the road conditions and its repairing. However, several Congress leaders, including the Home Minister, passed personal comments on me. The Home Minister said that I am showing ‘charming face’, which I feel is a derogatory remark,” said Saroj Pandey.
Saroj Pandey reminded Sonia Gandhi about her daughter Priyanka’s statement in Uttar Pradesh ‘Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon’ and hoped that the Congress president will treat all women equally. “If Sonia Ji keeps mum, it will be considered as her consent to the statement made by the Chhattisgarh Home Minister,” she said.
