The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday carried out search at the house of an IAS, some businessmen and Congress leaders in Raipur.
The crackdown of ED started at 6:00 am. The ED team reachedOfficers Colony located in Devendra Nagar in the state capital. The names of P Anbalagan, Aishwarya Kingdom resident Vipul Patel, Ashoka Tower resident Swatantra Jain and formerCOngress MLA Agni Chandrakar had come to fore where the ED teams reached. Chandrakar is currently the chairman of the Seed Development Corporation and is a close relative of Suryakant Tiwari.
Earlier also in Chhattisgarh, raids were conducted on IAS Sameer Vishnoi and coal traders Suryakant Tiwari and others.The IAS officers and a few businessmen are in jail. The ED has reached Devendra Nagar Officers Colony for the second time. In the first action, ED raided the residences of Sameer Vishnoi and IAS J P Mourya.
ED team has so far arrested five persons in the previous action. They are IAS Sameer Vishnoi, CM’s former deputy secretary Soumya Chaurasia, Suryakant Tiwari, Laxmikant Tiwari and Sunil Jain.
