BJP stages chakka jam in 78 assembly constituencies in protest against killing of party leaders in Bastar

In protest against the killing of four BJP leaders in Bastar in the last one month, BJP staged a chakka jam across 78 assembly seats of Chahttisgarh on Friday.

The BJP staged the protest in all major cities including the capital Raipur. The protest was done at more than 400 places in 78 assembly constituencies of the state.

During the protest in Raipur, BJP leaders clashed with Congress state president Mohan Markam who was passing through Civil Lines area of Raipur. BJP leaders shouted slogans against Mohan Markam. 

In Janjgir, Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel led the chakkajam where a large number of BJP workers were also present. In Dhamtari, BJP leaders led by MLA RanjanaSahu sat on the road. 

Former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh was present along with BJP leaders at Shankar Nagar Chowk in Raipur. A chakka jam was organized under the leadership of BJP state president Arun Sao in Bilaspur. Senior BJP leader Ramvichar Netam blocked National Highway 43 near Ramanujganj bus stand.

MP Sunil Soni led the protest on Ring Road No. 1 in Raipurleading to traffic jam on the road. 

The Bharatiya Janata Party started chakka jam from 2 pm on Friday which lasted for over two hours. 

To be mentioned, BJP staged protest against the murder of Bastar district secretary Budhram Kartam, Bijapur Mandalpresident Neelkanth Kakkem . Narayanpur district vice president Sagar Sahu and Dantewada’s former sarpanchRamdhar Alami.
