BJP is intolerant to a government runs with Opposition

BJP is engaged in sabotage, phone tapping, said CM Baghel

Raipur:Launching a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its alleged role in recent political turmoil and phone tapping, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday said that phone tapping is in the nature of BJP. Reacting to the questions of BJP Chhattisgarh president Vishnudeo Sai, Baghelsaid that the BJP cannot tolerate a government runs with Opposition. The BJP people are engaged in creating political unrest and their hand will be found behind every such incident, asserted the Chief Minister while talking to media at the Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur on his return from Delhi on Thursday.

The Shiv Sena MLAs first went to Gujarat and Assam which means the same people behind the scenes. After sabotaging in Karnataka, attempt to do it in Rajasthan, making sabotage in Madhya Pradesh, they are also trying to create an unrest here also. ED and IT are being misused and phone tapping is being done, said the Chief Minister. 

The Chief Minister said, now Vishnudeo Sai is asking questions. “I want to ask him, who got Pegasus to spy. The phone tapping of their leaders was also done. Phone tapping of opposition leaders and bureaucrats was also done. What will Sai and former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh will tell on it?,” said Baghel. 

\Suspended IPS Mukesh Gupta also mentioned

The Chief Minister also referred to the suspended IPS MukeshGupta and the charges against him and said what did MukeshGupta do. He was using both the EOW and the Intelligence. Everyone knows what happened. Everyone – be it officers, legislators and ministers – was living in fear during the tenure of Dr Raman Singh.

Vishnudeo Sai’s question to CM

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had alleged that there is an attempt to destabilise his government while talking to media two days back and thus the central government is tapping his phone. After this, Chhattisgarh BJP President Sai had asked questions to the Chief Minister through the media. Sai asked BhupeshBaghel about the reasons for which their phones are being tapped. If his ministers and MLAs are doing any immporal act, asked Sai. If yes then Baghel should take action against them, said Sai. Why Chief Minister is afraid of phone tapping if he is not doing any wrong act, said Sai.

Anusuiya Uikey not made presidential candidate as she is from Congress background: CM

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel claimed that Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey was also a contender for the post of President, but she was not picked for the election. Because she has a Congress background. She was earlier an MLA from Congress.

Central agencies behind Maharashtra crisis

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the central government and their agencies are behind the current political crisis in Maharashtra and it is visible from the deployment of policemen at the airport to escort the Shiv Sena MLAs. 

After all Narayan Rane, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Mukul Roy were all in Opposition and ED, IT case was made against them. After their joining of BJP, they were given clean-chit, said the Chief Minister. And now take the case of Hardik Patel and everyone knows why he has left the Congress. 

Center challenged on Agneepath, it has to be withdrawn

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said, like three black laws of Agriculture, Centre has to withdraw ‘Agneepath’ yojana. RahulGandhi had demanded its withdrawal. Farmers were declared terrorists during their agitation against agriculture laws, said the Chief Minister. This country belongs to farmers and soldiers. Former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri gave the slogan ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’. But this government first crushed the farmers and now there is plan to crush the soldiers.
