PM Modi: “With the mantra of Chhattisgarh’s development lies the nation’s progress, we are moving towards a developed India”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated the Brahmakumaris Shanti Shikhar Academy in Nava Raipur, where he lauded the spiritual and social contributions of the Brahmakumaris organisation, describing it as a driving force for peace, discipline, and positive transformation in society.
Addressing a gathering at the event, the Prime Minister said,
“With the mantra that the nation’s progress lies in the development of states, we are moving ahead on the path of a developed India (Viksit Bharat). The Brahmakumaris too have played a significant role in this journey.”
Expressing a deep sense of belonging, he said,
“I am not a guest here — I am one of you. I have seen this spiritual movement grow into a great tree of enlightenment. Whenever I have come among you, I have observed your sincere efforts — here, there are fewer words and more service, and I have witnessed it closely.”
Referring to the Shanti Shikhar Academy for a Peaceful World, Modi remarked that in the coming days, the institution would emerge as a major centre for global peace efforts. Quoting an ancient Indian maxim, he said,
“Our tradition teaches us — ‘Aacharah Paramo Dharma, Param Tapah, Param Gyanam, Param Tapa’ — there is nothing that cannot be achieved through righteous conduct. The Brahmakumari organisation draws its spiritual strength from this very philosophy.”
Highlighting India’s foundational values, the Prime Minister stated,
“Wherever India goes, it stands as a trustworthy partner. India has always reached out first and has become the voice of nature conservation across the world. We must learn to live in harmony with nature to truly preserve and protect it.”
Modi said that institutions like Shanti Shikhar will infuse new energy into India and help unite the world. He added,
“Since becoming Prime Minister, wherever I have travelled across the globe, I have met members of the Brahmakumari family. Their presence gives me a sense of belonging and strength — after all, I am a devotee of Shakti.”
Concluding his address, he said,
“The dreams we carry are not merely dreams — they are our firm resolve.”
