PM Modi to Inaugurate Key Projects, Launch State Foundation Day Celebrations in Naya Raipur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Raipur on November 1 for a one-day tour lasting six hours and forty-five minutes in Naya Raipur. During his packed schedule, the Prime Minister will participate in six major programmes, including the inauguration of the new Legislative Assembly building and the Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum, along with a grand roadshow.
According to the official schedule, Prime Minister Modi’s itinerary is tightly packed with no designated lunch break. Sources said he is expected to take light refreshments while traveling between venues.
The Prime Minister’s first stop will be the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Child Heart Hospital, where he will interact with around 2,500 children who have undergone successful heart surgeries. He will then inaugurate the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris’ Shanti Shikhar Bhavan at 10 a.m.
Later in the day, he will visit the Tribal Museum in Naya Raipur and unveil the statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He will conclude his visit by inaugurating the five-day Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav, marking the state’s 25th Foundation Day, before returning to New Delhi in the evening.
Grand Statehood Celebrations Planned
The 25th State Foundation Day celebration will be grander than ever, with the state government extending the festivities from three to five days (from November 1 to 5) at Naya Raipur’s Mela Ground. The Vice President of India will attend the closing ceremony. The ruling BJP plans to make the occasion a festival of pride and identity for Chhattisgarh.
Showcases and Decorations Along the PM’s Route
To honor Prime Minister Modi’s visit, six tableaux depicting various flagship schemes are being set up across Naya Raipur. These include Operation Sindoor, Naxal Mukti Bharat, Lakhpati Didi, Mahatari Vandan, PM Awas Yojana, and Operation Sindoor.
Each tableau will be positioned along the Prime Minister’s route from the airport to different venues. Highlights include exhibits of GST 2.0 near Jainam Manas Bhavan, PM Janman and Van Dhan Vikas Yojana near Sendh Talab, as well as representations of Kisan Samman and Krishak Unnati Yojana further along the route.
Public Holiday for State Establishment Day
November 1 has been declared a local holiday in educational institutions across Chhattisgarh on the occasion of State Foundation Day. Government offices will remain closed as the date falls on a Saturday, though the holiday will not apply to banks, treasuries, and financial institutions. The General Administration Department has already issued official orders in this regard.
