Parent awareness campaign will be started in all schools to create a better environment for teaching and learning

Raipur: Chhattisgarh government is taking constant initiatives to promote innovation and diversified activities to improve the level of primary education in the state. In this line, foster awareness campaign is being started in all schools. Its objective is to improve the quality of education by ensuring active participation of parents. School education secretary Dr. S. Bharathidasan has directed all the District Education Officers to ensure the implementation of parent awareness campaign in schools and to regularly monitor the activities conducted under this campaign and send its report to the government.Under this campaign, school management committees and parents’ conferences will be organized in all schools. Parents will be motivated and encouraged to pay special attention to children’s education and attendance. In the letter issued to the District Education Officers regarding this campaign, it has been said that a core group will be formed for the implementation of parent awareness campaign. For this, 5 departmental officers from each district and block will be selected and included in the core group. This core group will formulate an action plan for foster awareness program in all the schools of the district. Children with special needs (CWSN) and school dropouts will be admitted in the school and necessary facilities will be provided to them. A strategy will be prepared to connect the parents with the school and make them focus on the education of the children.
