
Bilaspur:Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel, is easily accessible to every common people of the state and it can be gauged from the fact that a differently-abled boy from Bilaspurgot immediate attention on the request of his father. PrashantDas Manikpuri, a resident of Bilaspur, had urged the Chief Minister through twitter handle for help for his 11-year-old son Sushant Manikpuri.
Taking immediate cognizance of his tweet, the Chief Minister’s Office directed the Divisional Commissioner Dr Sanjay Alang to examine the matter. In a swift action, the commissioner sent the officers of the Social Welfare Department to the residence of Prashant Das Manikpuri in Uslapur. Seeing the need of Sushant, the officials immediately gave him a wheel chair.
This wheel chair is no less than a boon for Sushant, who has been suffering from multiple disabilities for years. His UDID card was also made immediately by the Social Welfare Department. In which it was told that the type of disability of Sushant is mental retardation and it is 60 percent.
At present, the education of Sushant is being done in primary school Shantinagar. Along with scholarship to Sushant, other Allowance is also being given under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.The process of giving special education and pension has also been started by the Social Welfare Department.
