No spokesperson from Chhattisgarh Congress to participate in exit poll debates

The Chhattisgarh Congress on Friday decided that it will not participate in debates about exit polls after the seventh and final phase of voting for the Lok Sabha concludes on Saturday. This decision by the state Congress is in compliance with a directive from the party at the national level.
State Congress Communication Department head Sushil Anand Shukla stated that the Congress has decided their spokespersons will not take part in exit poll debates after voting has concluded. He emphasized that once people have cast their votes, the results will soon be known. This directive has been received from the party headquarters and will be followed accordingly.
Pawan Khera, Chairman of the AICC Media and Publication Department, also posted on social media regarding this decision. He mentioned that the statement concerning the party’s decision not to participate in upcoming exit poll debates is because the voters have already cast their votes, and the results are now sealed in the machines. Results will be revealed on June 4th. According to the Indian National Congress, there is no point in engaging in public speculation and TRP games before the results are officially declared. The purpose of any debate should be to enlighten the audience. The Congress party will gladly participate in debates again starting June 4th.
Similarly, the MP Congress has decided that no spokesperson from the party will participate in exit poll debates. Voting for the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections will take place on June 1st. Following this, exit polls for the Lok Sabha elections will begin to be released after 6 PM on the same day.
