NITI Aayog report: Narayanpur of Chhattisgarh fourth in ‘Overall Performance’ category

Raipur: Narayanpur, one of the worst Maoist-hit districts of Chhattisgarh, has secured fourth place in the top five districts under the ‘Overall Performance’ category among the 112 aspirational districts of the country as per the Champions of Change Delta Ranking released by the NITI Aayog for December 2022. Besides, Narayanpur also ranks third in the health and nutrition category.

Meanwhile, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Chhattisgarh has done remarkable work in various fields including health and nutrition within the last four years. The Government of India has also appreciated these efforts made in Chhattisgarh several times. ‘Mukhyamantri Suposhan Abhiyan’ has been launched to eradicate malnutrition among children and to free adolescent girls and women from anemia.

The efforts made by the Chhattisgarh government in the field of nutrition have also yielded positive results. Health-related schemes like Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic, Dai-Didi Clinic, Mukhyamantri Slum Swasthya Yojana, Hamar Lab, Malaria-Mukt Bastar and Malaria-Mukt Chhattisgarh Yojana, Dr. Khoobchand Baghel Swastyha Sahayata Yojana, and Mukhyamantri Vishesh Sahayata Yojana are being run in the state to provide affordable and quality healthcare to the citizens.
