Naxals Blast Vehicle Carrying Security Personnel in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur, 8 DRG Jawans Martyred

In a tragic incident in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district, Naxals detonated an IED, destroying a vehicle carrying security personnel. Eight personnel of the Dantewada District Reserve Guard (DRG) were martyred in the attack, along with the vehicle’s driver. Bastar Range Inspector General (IG) Sundarraj P confirmed the incident.

According to IG Sundarraj P, a joint operation team was returning after completing an operation near Bijapur. The IED blast occurred at around 2:15 pm on Monday near Ambeli village.
