Baghel, Singhdeo appointed AICC senior observers for Maharashtra Assembly elections
Raipur: Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and former Deputy Chief Minister T S Singhdeo have been appointed as AICC senior observers for Maharashtra which is going to the assembly polls.
All India Congress Committee general secretary K C Venugopal on Tuesday released the list of observers (division wise), with immediate effect.
While Bhupesh Baghel has been given the charge of Vidarbha Division (Amravati and Nagpur), Singhdeo has been given the charge of Western Maharashtra.
Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will be the AICC senior observer for Mumbai and Konkan. Similarly, Dr G Parameshwara, former Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi, Umang Singhar, Chahttisgarh Congress In-charge Sachin Pilot, Uttam Kumar Reddy, M B patil, Syed Naseer Hussain and D Anasuya Seethakka will be the AICC senior observers.
State elections senior coordinators are Mukul Wasnik and Avinash Pande.
