Nadda lambasts Congress, accuses INDI Alliance of corruption and appeasement politics

Raipur
In a fiery address in Raipur and Bilaspur, Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President J.P. Nadda lashed out at the Congress, accusing them of perpetuating appeasement politics while underscoring Prime Minister Modi’s dedication to development.

“From the depths of hell to the skies, the Congress has committed corruption,” declared Nadda, rallying the crowd at a public meeting in the Lormi assembly constituency. He questioned whether a party tainted by corruption should receive support, pointing to leaders of the INDI Alliance either in jail or on bail.
Highlighting recent political shifts, Nadda emphasized the decisive rejection of a corrupt Congress government in Chhattisgarh just three months ago, urging voters to wield their power in making significant decisions. He praised the electorate for their role in elevating Mr. Modi to the Prime Minister’s office in 2014 and again in 2019, citing transformative governance that addressed critical issues such as Article 370, the Ram temple construction, and the Citizenship Amendment Act.
Under Modi’s leadership, Nadda asserted, India has experienced a paradigm shift in politics, transitioning from appeasement to development-focused governance. He outlined ambitious plans, including the provision of three crore houses, making three crore women millionaires, and ensuring basic amenities like piped gas and zero electricity bills. This, he declared, is Modi’s guarantee for a developed India.
Enumerating the achievements of the Modi government, Nadda cited infrastructure development, healthcare reforms, and economic growth. He highlighted India’s rise as the fifth largest economy globally and outlined plans to ascend to the third position in the near future. The BJP President also hailed advancements in sectors like healthcare, manufacturing, and renewable energy under Modi’s stewardship.
In a scathing attack on the Congress, Nadda accused the party of disrespecting Hindu sentiments, particularly regarding the Ram temple, and criticized their stance on issues like triple talaq and the Citizenship Amendment Act. He underscored the BJP’s commitment to preserving cultural identity while promoting inclusive development.
The speech resonated with themes of progress, nationalism, and governance, positioning Prime Minister Modi as a transformative leader driving India towards a prosperous future.
