Morning assembly session in CG schools to be started with state song

Raipur: The morning assembly session in schools across Chhattisgarh will be started with the state song “Arpa Pairi Ke Dhar”. The session will be led by five students securing the highest marks in the monthly assessment. On this basis the children will be selected every month.

The School Education Department has issued instructions in this regard. According to the new instructions, in the school assembly, Shala Nayak will administer the oath to the students for the unity and prosperity of the country and the state. During this an inspiration song like ‘Itni Shakti Hame Dena Data’ will be sung.

General knowledge and headlines of main news of national and international importance will be read from the newspaper. During this, the students will tell a moral or inspiring story. The session will be concluded with the national anthem by the students.

The School Education Department has also fixed the time for each part in the 20 minutes long assembly session. One minute 15 seconds for state song, one minute for oath, 2 minutes for inspirational song, 5 minutes for newspaper reading, 5 minutes for moral and motivational story and 52 seconds for national anthem.
