Mohan Markam sworn in as Minister, Governor Harichandan administers oath at Raj Bhavan

Raipur: Chhattisgarh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed minister Shri Mohan Markam at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan here today. Markam solemnly took the oath in Hindi, pledging his commitment to his position. Following the oath-taking, Governor Harichandan and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel extended their warm congratulations to Markam and presented him with a bouquet of flowers.

The event witnessed the presence of Assembly Speaker Dr Charan Das Mahant, Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey, Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, Women and Child Development Minister Anila Bhediya, Industries Minister Kawasi Lakhma, Revenue Minister Jai Singh Agarwal, Urban Administration Minister Shiv Kumar Dahariya, Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar as well as parliamentary secretaries, MLAs, Chairman of Municipal Corporation, other public representatives, and esteemed citizens.
The proceedings of the ceremony were diligently conducted under the guidance of Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain. Additional Chief Secretary Subrat Sahoo, Governor’s Secretary Amrit Kumar Khalkho, and other senior administrative officials were also present on the occasion.
