Major success in anti-Naxal operations: CM Vishnu Deo Sai says dawn of peace and development in Bastar ensured

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has stated that trust, development, and security are the new guiding pillars for Bastar, where peace has become the only viable alternative to violence.
The Chief Minister confirmed that security forces achieved a decisive victory in anti-Naxal operations conducted in the Bijapur and Sukma districts of the Bastar range. During the operation, 14 Maoists were neutralised.
CM Sai attributed the weakening of the Maoist network to the precise strategy, sustained pressure, and strong ground presence of the security forces. He noted that Bastar is now moving forward with new opportunities in investment, education, healthcare, and employment.
The Chief Minister credited this transformation to the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He also praised the indomitable courage of the security forces, the state’s sensitive rehabilitation policy, and the unwavering faith of the people of Bastar.
Commending the bravery of the personnel involved in the mission, the Chief Minister extended his congratulations to all the jawans.
CM Sai issued a call to those still treading the path of violence to surrender and join the mainstream. He urged them to take advantage of the government’s rehabilitation policy to lead a life of dignity. He further cautioned that the state government and security forces remain fully capable and committed to fulfilling their duties in accordance with the law and the Constitution.
The Chief Minister remarked that the “dark night of Naxalism” in Chhattisgarh is in its final stages, ensuring a permanent sunrise of peace and progress in the region.
