Raipur
The Chhattisgarh Government has undertaken a significant administrative reshuffle, transferring and reassigning departmental responsibilities for 14 IAS officers. The move comes immediately after Vikas Sheel took charge as the new Chief Secretary of the state.
The General Administration Department (GAD) issued the order, signed by Secretary Rajat Kumar, assigning additional charges to several senior officers and relieving others of their existing responsibilities.
Key changes include Jitendra Yadav being appointed as Collector, Rajnandgaon. Senior IAS officer P. Dayanand was relieved of his additional charge of the Public Relations Department (PRD), with Dr. Rohit Yadav taking over the crucial portfolio.

Renu G. Pillay (1991 batch) was posted as Chairman, Vyapam, and given the additional charge of Chairman, Board of Secondary Education. Subrat Sahoo (1992 batch) received the additional charge of Chairman, Revenue Board, Bilaspur, succeeding Topeshwar Verma, who is due to retire on 1 October.
Among the district-level changes, Jitendra Yadav (2019 batch) has been appointed as the Collector of Rajnandgaon, and Pathare Abhijit Baban (2022 batch) has been posted as the Chief Executive Officer of Zila Panchayat Raigarh.
