The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team arrested former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s son, Chaitanya Baghel, from Bhilai. He has been sent to ED custody till July 22 by a special court in Raipur.
The arrest is linked to a money laundering case connected to the liquor scam.
ED produced Chaitanya Baghel before the special court in Raipur, which granted a 5-day remand until July 22. Several senior leaders, including Bhupesh Baghel, Charan Das Mahant, and Mohammad Akbar, were present in court.
