Vacant posts in CIMS Hospital Bilaspur to be filled soon

Medical Education Department has given its consent for the recruitment of 3047 class III and IV staff in 23 health institutions of the state.

Bilaspur:The state government has directed Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) to complete the process of preparing reservation roster within 15 days for direct recruitment to 184 class-III and 75 –IV employees in the CIMS. Online process will be adopted to bring transparency in the appointment and a total of 259 posts will be filled.

It may be mentioned, shortage of staff has been a major factor in CIMS, leading to problems for patients. There is a huge shortage of nursing staff in the hospital. Work pressure has increased on the staff nurse posted here. Therefore, last month, they has staged a demonstration demanding recruitment of adequate staff. 

CIMS Dean Dr K K Sahare prepared the details of the posts lying vacant and sent to the government for approval immediately after his joining. Dr Sahareinformed that the Medical Education Department has given its consent for the recruitment of 3047 class III and IV staff in 23 health institutions of the state. It also includes 259 posts of CIMS. Dr Sahare said that on the instructions of the government, reservation roster is being prepared for recruitment. Online process will be adopted to bring transparency in direct recruitment. 

Recruitment will be done for the posts of 95 Staff Nurse, Ward Boy and Technician

The posts for which the state government has given consent for recruitment include Class III Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech Therapist, Refectrinist, Plaster Technician, OT Technician, as well as Staff Nurse, Psychiatric Nurse, Chemist, Dark Room Assistant, Library Assistant. The posts of Pump Attendant, Lab Attendant, Ward Boy/Aya, Barber, Washerman, Packer, Bhrity/Chowkidar and Sweeper are included for Class IV category including Record Keeper, Steno Typist, Assistant Grade-3, RecordKeeper. 

Five-member team formed for execution of recruitment process

CIMS Dean Dr K K Sahare said that the proposal sent to the government for recruitment has been approved. Now after getting permission for recruitment to the posts of class 3 and 4, the application will be taken under the online process only. A 5-member team has been formed to follow the rules of reservation roster. Merit list will be generated through automatic computer. There will be an exam of 5 people for one post.
