Jolt to AAP in Chhattisgarh as two key members of the party join Congress in presence of PCC chief Mohan Markam.

Raipur. In a jolt to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is planning to field its candidates in all the 90 constituencies of Chhattisgarh, which is six months away from assembly elections, two of its key members joined the Congress in the presence of Pradesh Congress Committee president Mohan Markam on Friday.
Former Congress leaders Shivnarayan Dwivedi and Pushpendra Parihar have joined the Congress.
Dwivedi was earlier in Congress. After that, he joined the BJP but soon left and joined the AAP, and now he has returned home.
Pushpendra Parihar, who entered Congress, said that he had returned home. There is a dictatorship in the AAP party. Accusing the party, he said that he was responsible for Raipur Lok Sabha, but the party’s donation collection is in full swing.
Shivnarayan Dwivedi was among the Congress leaders at the Jhiram Ghati massacre during the Parivartan Yatra 2013. Several top leaders of the Chhattisgarh Congress lost their lives at the hands of the Maoists in the Jhiram Ghati incident that shook the entire nation. The then Congress state president Nandkumar Patel, former Union minister Vidyacharan Shukla, and ‘Bastar Tiger Mahendra Karma were killed in the Jhiram attack.
Congress leaders like Yogendra Sharma, Uday Mudaliar, and Prafulla Shukla also lost their lives in this massacre. Shivnarayan Dwivedi was also involved in the Parivartan Yatra.
After this incident, he left Congress and joined the BJP, accusing the party of ignoring and neglecting the Jhiram victims. But, later, he became disillusioned with the BJP as well. After this, he joined the AAP but separated from there and then returned to Congress.
