Jesus Christ gave us the message of Love, Harmony and Brotherhood to defeat violence, hatred, envy and grief: CM Baghel
Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday visited St. Joseph’s Cathedral and St. Paul’s Cathedral in Raipur and prayed for the progress and prosperity of the state. He extended Christmas greetings and best wishes to all the residents of Chhattisgarh including the Christian community.
On this occasion, Baghel said that the birthday of Lord Jesus Christ is being celebrated with great pomp and fervor all over the world. Joyful festivities, cakes and sweets, children dressing up for the occasion are few of the many happy sightings on this festival. Lord Jesus gave the message of Love and Harmony for the entire humanity.
He taught us that only through compassion, love and service we can reach God, and this is the way to win over hatred, jealousy and anger prevailing in life. In this message there is brotherhood, there is love which can defeat the violence, hatred, jealousy and sorrow spread in the world today. Baghel said that we should serve humanity by following the message of Lord Jesus so that we can take this human civilization to greater heights of evolution.
Meanwhile, he joined Christmas celebrations and the cake cutting ceremony at the cathedrals. Everyone present in the church prayed to the Lord and the choir of the church presented carols. Christian community welcomed Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel by presenting him with a bouquet and shawl.
