Income Tax team raided liquor and steel traders in Raipur, Birgaon, Raigarh and Kharsia on Wednesday, inviting criticism from Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel who reiterated that he had already predicted it. It is income tax now and next is the turn of ED, he said. Around 50 officers is involved in this raid.
Income tax team reached the house of a liquor trader located near Katora Talab in Raipur. According to the information, raids have been conducted at the house and hideout of liquor baron Amolak Singh Bhatia located in KatoraTalab in Raipur. Action was already taken in the liquor baron Bhatia two years ago. It is being said that action has been taken against the liquor businessman in matters related to Delhi Excise Policy.
At the same time, RK Gupta in AishwaryaKingdom and Ramdas Aggarwal, a steel and power factory businessman in Urla’s La vista, his son Sunil and Anil’s were raided.
At around 4:30 am in Raigarh, the Income Tax team raided contractor Sunil Ramdas Agrawal, Kharsia contractor Mukesh Agrawal, NatwarRateria, who is considered close to Judeo, coal transporter Akash Jindal and CA Anil Agrawal’shouse.
