IIM Raipur to Host Indian Finance Conference 2024, Featuring Global Finance Experts and Prestigious Awards

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur is set to host the esteemed Indian Finance Conference 2024 from December 19 to 21. This significant event will gather finance scholars, researchers, and industry leaders from across the globe to share pioneering knowledge and explore the latest transformative trends in finance. The conference is a collaborative effort organized annually by IIM Calcutta, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Ahmedabad. Key dates include the paper submission deadline on August 31 and the registration deadline on November 30.
The event will kick off with an exclusive pre-conference tutorial on December 18, offering participants valuable insights into finance and accounting research. The conference’s keynote address will be delivered by Professor Yakov Amihud, the Ira Rennert Professor of Entrepreneurial Finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business. Professor Amihud will offer his expert perspectives on the foremost challenges and emerging trends in entrepreneurial finance.
A highlight of the conference is the presentation of prestigious awards aimed at promoting research excellence in finance. The BlackRock Research Award, valued at $10,000, will honor outstanding contributions to the field, while the Best Paper Awards, each accompanied by a $1,000 grant, will recognize innovative research that advances financial knowledge and practice.
