IAS Vishnoi, businessmen Sunil Agrawal and Laxmikant Tiwari were sent on 14-day judicial remand.

Raipur. The beleaguered IAS from Chhattisgarh, Sameer Vishnoi, and businessmen Sunil Agrawal and Laxmikant Tiwari have been sent by a local court of Raipur on 14-day judicial remand.
Although the ED had sought their custody, the court rejected the same and sent the accused in the money laundering cases to the Central Jail in Raipur. All three were in the custody of the ED for the last 14 days. Enforcement Directorate officers were interrogating them in Raipur.
The ED ordered the accused to be detained for eight days, followed by another six days. The officers and businessmen were presented in court on Thursday, as the ED remand ended. The ED’s counsel stated that they discovered numerous types of cheques, documents, and cash that point to the accused’s crime.
IAS Vishnoi and two businessmen are in judicial remand on charges of illegal coal mining transactions. The ED raided their offices for the first time on October 11. All three contained cash, gold, diamonds, and other valuables. The ED has yet to reveal the properties discovered during the raids.
