Regrettably, despite medical intervention, he succumbed to his condition.Similarly, the previous year had also seen another heart-wrenching suicide case within the jail premises. An inmate, identified as Mahendra, resorted to ending his life by using his own shirt as a makeshift noose. This grim event unfolded within the confines of the jail’s hospital ward, and reports indicate that Mahendra was grappling with severe mental distress.
