Chhattisgarh government has taken a tough stand in the case of fake caste certificates after a nude protest by some youths demanding action against those enjoying government jobs o the basis of fake SC/ST certificates.
Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain held a meeting of officers of 16 departments. Instructions have been given to dismiss those employed who have obtained government jobs with the help of fake certificates.
The Chief Secretary enquired about the action taken so far from the departmental officers. Along with this, instructions have been given to take immediate action on the pending cases in the departments including insisting on early hearing in the cases pending in the court. Significantly, SC-ST youths had ran naked on the Vidhan Sabha Road on the first day of the monsoon of Assembly on Tuesday.
