Chhattisgarh Congress gears up for election as national president Kharge plans visit

Raipur Ahead of the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, Congress National President Amllikarjuna Kharge is visiting Chhattisgarh on August 13. Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee President Deepak Baij on Monday said that preparations for the Kharge’s visit are in full swing. Kharge may give a node to the new executive committee of the state Congress. Kharge may address a rally in the state capital Raipur or in Surguja. As anticipation builds, both the government and the party organization have initiated extensive preparations to accord a warm welcome to Kharge during his visit. Sources have revealed that during his visit, discussions could revolve around the approval of the executive committee of Pradesh Congress President Baij. This is seen as a crucial step in streamlining the party’s strategies leading up to the elections. Notably, apart from the internal organizational matters, there are indications of deliberations regarding the promises and pledges that the Congress party and the government intend to present to the public as part of their election campaign.
