Helicopter joy ride for state board toppers on June 10

Raipur: The students who came in merit list in the 10th and 12th Annual Board Examination of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education would be awarded with a helicopter ride on June 10. The children will be given this ride in recognition of their year-long efforts, and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will honour them with certificates and cash prizes.It is worth noting that the joy ride route of the youngsters who longed to touch the sky was opened when Baghel went to Raghunath Nagar of Pratappur assembly constituency during Bhent-Mulakat. Smriti, a student of Swami Atmanand School expressed her desire to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to ride in the helicopter in response to which the Chief Minister Baghel replied by saying when she will top in the twelfth then she will be able to enjoy a helicopter.

Smriti expressed her desire to sit with the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on the same day and for the happiness of Smriti he fulfilled her desire. Chief Minister Baghel also announced helicopter rides for the students who came in the merit list of class 10th and 12th.Last year, 125 students were awarded a helicopter ride. The excitement of the children travelling in the helicopter at the time was remarkable. Last year, Devanand Kumeti, a student from a special backward tribe living in Abujhmad, Narayanpur, went on a ride. He stated that the deep trees where I reside prevent even the sun’s rays to reach but it was an amazing experience to watch the trees from such a height.

Meanwhile, when chief minister goes to Bhent-Mulakat, he makes sure to communicate with school children. During this, the children also asked him how our city looks from the sky. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel fulfilled the desire of children’s of flying in the sky, and for this he planned a joy ride for the children who came in the merit list through the ‘Swami Atmanand Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana’.
