Health min asks department officials to be on Covid-19 alert
Raipur: Health Minister TS Sing Deo has directed officials of the health department to be on alert and improve all the arrangements for the investigation, treatment, prevention and control of Covid-19.
Keeping in view the sudden surge in cases of Covid-19 at global level, the minister chaired a review meeting of senior departmental officials on Friday.
He instructed to keep proper arrangements for oxygen kits, vaccines, medicines, consumables etc. along with conducting maximum tests RT PCR tests of people experiencing covid like symptoms.
The minister also appealed to the people of the state to follow the Covid appropriate behavior as much as possible.
He inquired about the availability of RT PCR, TrueNot and antigen kits for testing and the current status of essential medicines and other consumables. He asked all the districts to conduct mock-drills along with providing information about the actual status of ventilators, monitors, ICU and oxygen arrangements.
