Chhattisgarh has hit yet another milestone in the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive, as the state’s vaccination count crossed the five crore mark, with a total of 5, 00, 10, 332 jabs administered till Sunday. From these, 2, 24, 49, and 317 were inoculated as the first dose, 2, 02, 65, 772 as the second dose, and 72, 95, 293 as the precautionary dose.
Meanwhile, nearly 94% of the adult population in the state, 62% of teenagers aged 15 to 18, and 55% of children aged 12 to 14 have received both shots of the Covid-19 vaccine.
A total of 01, 85, 13, 230 citizens above 18 years of age, 10, 21, 128 teens in the 15-18 age group, and 07, 31, 364 children in the 12-14 age group have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. Besides, precaution doses have been administered to 17,78411 health workers, frontline workers, and people above 60 years of age and 55,16,822 citizens in the 18-59 age group.
