Raipur: The state has crossed the 75 lakh mark in administering precautionary doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. About 75.02 lakh people have been administered precautionary doses so far (till December 13). This includes more than 57 lakh people in the age group of 18 to 59 years and 18.02 lakh health workers, frontline workers and citizens above 60 years.
A total of 5,03,22,782 Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in the state so far. This includes 2.24 crore first doses, 2.03 crore second doses and 75.02 lakh precaution doses. Nearly 94 per cent of the adult population in the state have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
