District collector Rajat Bansal reached the district hospital on Monday and inquired about the much-awaited CT scan facility being set up in the emergency medicine department.

The cost of a CT Scan has been fixed Rs Rs 800 for the patients admitted to the district hospital and Rs 1500 for the outside patients. The cost of the same varies from Rs 3000 to Rs 5000 in private hospitals and diagnostic centers.

However, in view of the long-standing demand and need, the government gave its nod to start a CT scan facility in the district hospital.
