State Health Minister TS Singhdeo, while giving a message to the people of the state on the cases of coronavirus infection, has said that after the decrease of cases in the country and the state for some time, the infection seems to be increasing again. And along with this there has been a decrease in the awareness of coronavirus among people and precautions are not being taken in public places. On the Health Department investigation and the cases of infection, he said that although there has been an increase of 2.5 to 3 times in the cases compared to the last week, the number is still less visible. 193 cases were found from last week as compared to 71 in last week which is about 2.5 to 3 times more. TS Singhdeo said that the number of infections in the state is less now, but keeping in mind the discussion of the possibilities of the fourth wave, utmost care is needed, while new variants of coronavirus are also coming, although so far they are not too dangerous.
The Health Minister said that in the past three waves of government and health departments have got full cooperation of the people of the state in controlling the corona. He said that today I would like to appeal again that we are all consciously taking full care of common places. Must use physical distance and mask and do not abstain from testing. Along with this, Shri Singhdev has also appealed to the people of the state that those who have not yet got the corona vaccine, they must get all the vaccines, especially children in the age group of 12 to 15 years and children of 15 to 18 years as well as 60 children. Citizens above the year who have priority for booster dose must get their vaccination done.
