Raipur: Health Minister TS Singh Deo hoisted the national flag on the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence at Surguja district headquarters Ambikapur today. He took the salute of the parade along with district collector Kundan Kumar and Superintendent of Police Bhavna Gupta at the district level function organized at Police Ground, Ambikapur. After hoisting the flag, he read out the Chief Minister’s message to the public.
He also released pigeons symbolizing peace and colorful balloons symbolizing joy in the sky and greeted all the people on Independence Day. He met the families of the martyrs and honored them. He honored the officers-employees and voluntary organizations of the district who did excellent work by giving them citations.
