‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign Gains Momentum in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: In a tribute to the relentless efforts of nation-builders, the state government has embarked on the commemoration of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. As part of this initiative, the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign will be rolled out, symbolizing the unity and pride of the nation. Dinesh Kumar Mistry, Director of Postal Services Chhattisgarh, has issued a circular to all secretaries, urging active participation in this patriotic endeavor.

During the period from August 13 to 15, citizens are encouraged to hoist the Tricolor flag atop their offices and residences, aligning with the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan initiated by the Central Government. The campaign aims to evoke a spirit of patriotism and collective celebration as the nation commemorates its journey towards freedom and progress.

To facilitate easy access to the national flag, the Chhattisgarh Postal Circle has taken an innovative step. The national flag, measuring 20 inches by 30 inches and priced at Rs. 25 per flag, is available for purchase at all post offices across Chhattisgarh. The circle has set an ambitious target of distributing 5 lakh national flags through various post offices, further amplifying the reach of the campaign.

Mistry extends a heartfelt call to all officers, employees, and citizens to actively participate by procuring flags from post offices and proudly hoisting them at their homes and workplaces. This collective effort is poised to ensure the resounding success of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and reinforce the sense of unity and pride among the people.

In order to meet the demand for a large number of flags, individuals and organizations are encouraged to promptly inform their local post office, enabling seamless and timely flag distribution to support the campaign’s widespread participation.
