Govt employee commits suicide by jumping from fourth floor of office building in Nava Raipur

RaipurA senior clerk, Naresh Sahu, tragically took his own life by jumping from the fourth floor of his office building in Nava Raipur on Friday morning. The incident, which took place at around 10:40 AM, was captured on a 7-second live video showing Naresh crossing the railing and leaping to his death. His head split open on impact with the ground, resulting in instant death.Naresh Sahu, 35, worked as a Senior Assistant Accountant at Parayavas Bhawan and resided with his family in Pachpedi Naka. On the day of the incident, Naresh arrived at work as usual before proceeding to the fourth-floor railing and jumping over it. Disturbingly, the CCTV camera on the fourth floor recorded the entire event, clearly showing Naresh’s actions leading to his fall. Witnesses reported that Naresh screamed loudly as he fell, startling those on the ground floor.The initial response from bystanders was one of shock, and they promptly informed the police upon seeing the blood on the ground. The authorities conducted a preliminary investigation and sent Naresh’s body for a post-mortem examination. No suicide note was found in his possession. In the wake of the incident, police are questioning his office colleagues and family members to understand the circumstances better.”The family is devastated and in tears after the incident,” reported the authorities.According to Rakhi Station In-Charge Ajit Singh Rajput, Naresh was originally from Supela Bhilai and had been living in Pachpedi Naka with his family. He was married 3-4 years ago and had a young daughter. Rajput indicated that the police suspect Naresh was troubled by a domestic dispute.”The police suspect that he was troubled by a domestic dispute,” stated Ajit Singh Rajput.The family and community remain in a state of shock and mourning as the investigation continues to uncover the reasons behind this tragic event.
