Formation of Martyr Police Cell under the Direction of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay sharma : “A meaningful effort to address the issues faced by the families of police personnel who made the supreme sacrifice,” says Vijay Sharma

In this government of good governance, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma has taken a sensitive decision to address the issues faced by police personnel and their families by issuing directives for the formation of the Martyr Police Cell. The aim of this initiative is to provide necessary assistance and support to the families of martyred police personnel.It is worth noting that a few days ago, the families of martyred police personnel met Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma to apprise him of their problems. At that time, Chief Minister Vijay Sharma assured them that efforts would be made to resolve their issues promptly after discussions with the Chief Minister.Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma stated that a Martyr Police Cell is being established in each Range Inspector General of Police office. The main objective of this cell is to address the issues faced by the families of martyred police personnel. The Range Inspector General of Police will be the chairman of this cell, and the Additional Superintendent of Police at the Range Headquarters, along with Deputy Superintendents of Police and Inspector-level officers nominated by the Range Inspector General, will be its members.The Martyr Police Cell will hold meetings at the unit level, range level, and police headquarters level on the second Wednesday of every month to discuss and resolve the issues faced by the families of martyred police personnel. During these meetings, families will have the opportunity to present their problems, and efforts will be made to address them.In addition to the meetings, a separate time slot has been designated every Wednesday for the families of martyred police personnel to present their issues. Arrangements will be made as needed to ensure that the families of martyred police personnel can attend. If issues cannot be resolved through unit meetings, efforts will be made through the Range-level Martyr Police Cell. If resolution is not possible at the Range level, the issues will be addressed by the Martyr Police Cell established at the police headquarters level.Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma stated that these directives have been issued to ensure the proper resolution of the issues faced by the families of martyred police personnel. This initiative is a significant step towards providing mental and emotional support to the families, along with promptly addressing their problems.He said that this initiative is a meaningful effort to express respect and gratitude towards the families of martyred police personnel. It ensures that the families of those police personnel who made the supreme sacrifice while performing their duties are cared for and supported.
