Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition Nava Raipur is the first government hotel management institute of Chhattisgarh. In the academic session 2021-22 of the institute, a total of 70 students studied the B.Sc. Degree Course of Hospitality and Hotel Administration and 03 Diploma Courses 1. Diploma in Food Production 2. Diploma in Food and Beverage Services and 3. Diploma in Housekeeping. The selection has been done for Industrial / On-the-Job training in hotels located in the state (Courtyard Marriott, Sayaji May Fair, Hotel Babylon and Hotel Hyatt). For the academic session 2022-23 B.Sc, Hospitality and Hotel Administration Admission to the first year of a three year course (60 seats) and three diploma courses 1. Diploma in Food Production (60 seats) 2. Diploma in Food and Beverage Services (40 seats) and 3. Diploma in Housekeeping Course (40 seats) Online / offline applications have been invited for admission to degree and diploma courses as mentioned above till 30/07/2022. Students who want to do a three-year bachelor’s degree on the subjects of hotel management and have not appeared in NCHM JEE examination can also get admission. For admission in degree and diploma courses, the minimum educational qualification is 12th pass (Science / Arts / Commerce and other subjects) and one subject English is compulsory. For admission in degree and diploma courses, the age limit is 25 years for general category and other backward class and 28 years for SC and ST category candidates.
